It has always been hard to put a tag on Sent Men Revolt, one of most extreme bands the country’s musical pallet has ever known. But then again, the band has never really sought out such a tag, instead letting the music do the talking, preferring introspection and intelligence over preconceived notions and preexisting tags. Ever since the 2010 formation in Dhaka (Bangladesh), Sent Men Revolt has been an ever-evolving experiment in Thrash metal ultimately built upon a worldly, ever-conscious outlook with roots firmly-planted in environmentally-conscious, new age mentality.SMR has many directions and styles, some of them clearly visible while others more unseen. Namely working and keeping it all together under the Label of Thrash Metal or life-and-death metal, bastardized by various influences from a whole lot of genres and sub-genres (thrash, black, power, heavy, punk, progressive,neoclassical), with a lyrical concept not very often seen in the world of metal - that is, academically twisted old school tell-a-tale attitude with a small amount of mystic poetry hidden somewhere between the lines...
